Michelle Bliven
admired by, Lauren Shehadi
Michelle Bliven started Dreamcatchers in 2003 to honor her son Aaron. Aaron was born with challenges that prevented him from playing little league baseball. He would watch his siblings on the field from the bleachers and Michelle knew he missed being a part of the game. She got to work creating a rubber-turfed field that was handicap accessible so that Aaron and any other child with limitations could enjoy our national pastime. It was a labor of love that started with 17 players and now there are hundreds of kids who wouldn't have been able to but now because of Michelle can play ball. I secretly admire her for her passion, perseverance and love for her children. She is a role model in her community but also i her family. She puts everyone before herself and she deserves a little recognition.
